Lawn Mower Classifications:
(Basic differerences only)

   All of our racing mowers are front engine lawnmowers. These are the basic differences, further rules apply. For a complete set of rules see the ARMA website at www.golawnmowerracing.com

Stock:
 This is a standard front engine riding lawnmower, no modificarions, maximum 3650 rpm with the blades removed. Seat kill switch must be active or a tethered kill switch installed. In Grasscar these racers will race on a “road course” set up with cones.

Super Stock / Junior Prepared:
  Overall ratio of 8:1 with a maximum 16” diameter rear tires, maximum 3650 rpm. Minor modifications are allowed.

Modified:
  This class is a Grasscar only class with a maximum 4500 rpm. Any gear ratio may be used and the mower may be lowered and widened (max 44”). Maximum rear tire size of 18” and is subject to safety rules.

Unlimited:
   We combined ARMA classes X-Mod Singles and Twins.

Ages 10-13 may race in the stock class.
Ages Under 16 may race in the Sportster class.
Ages 16 & up may race in any class.
